This course explores the oil painting process and aims to give participants confidence when handling paint. You will learn about glazes and layers, transparency and opacity through a series of exercises, sampling and experimentation.
The workshop is suitable for all abilities and aims to underpin the basic principles of painting in oil.

Perspective can be frightening and challenging for an artist, however, the basic principles are easy to grasp and once understood will filter through into all drawing, including life drawing.
This course will embrace imaginary architecture, transporting you into other worlds. With the freedom to experiment and explore both perspective and imagination you will learn valuable skills to take forward into future work.
You will be taught through a series of exercise’s with guidance and support throughout the course.

This drawing workshop aims to develop confidence and knowledge and expand your drawing skills. By observing a variety of subject matter we will delve into shadows, reflections, perspective and form. You will create a dictionary of mark making and reference points to build your own drawing vocabulary and incorporate into future projects.
The workshop is suitable for all abilities and aims to strengthen the basic principles of drawing.
