This will be a very special course taking place in the lovely setting of Hawkwood College. My colleague Dee who has an incredible knowledge of trees and woodlands will take us for a short walk, so you can hunt and gather textures to bring back and use to imprint on your bowl.
Using your gathered textures you will be guided through making a bowl or platter. You can interpret the brief in any way you wish and will be supported through a variety of techniques.
Not only is this a creative day , you will be given lunch and thoroughly looked after!.
This course is incredibly good value at £130.
There are only 10 places available so book asap to avoid disappointment.

There is something magical at Christmas with lights shining from windows of houses, thinking about toasty warm fires, Christmas sparkle and decorations. Using simple slab building to create a basic box, I will show you how to develop this into a “Christmas house” to hold a night light. If you wish to take the idea in another direction let me know and I can adapt it.
